Punch is a timing feature where you can bill clients for tasks you have done, or simply use it to track your time.

Clients

Firstly, you will need to add a client(s)

Hover over CLIENTS in the navigation and click ADD or in the Client list, click the green '+ Add Client' button.

To edit an existing Client, click on the icon next to the Clients Name.

Enter the Clients Name and click 'Submit' to save.

Add the Clients Address information.

At the bottom of the page enter any Contacts associated with the Client. Click the green + to add the contact. Multiple contact can be added to each Client.

Projects

Once you have added some clients, add some Projects.

Hover over PROJECTS in the navigation and click ADD or the green '+ Add Project' button. To edit an existing Project, click on the icon next to the Project Name.

Enter the Project Name, select a Client the Project is for, the Client Contact and any additional Client Contact.

***YOU WILL NEED TO MARK THE STATUS OF THE PROJECT AS CONFIRMED FOR THE PROJECT TO APPEAR IN YOUR PUNCH LIST. DRAFT AND COMPLETED PROJECTS DO NOT APPEAR IN THE PUNCH LIST***

Punch Timer

Hover over PUNCH in the navigation and click TOGGLE.

Click on the 3 dots icon to expand/collapse the Punch control.

Within the Punch control select a Client. **Projects will only appear if a Client has been attached to a Project.**

Add a description for the task you are doing in the Comments box e.g. Poster design for E Corp.

Padding (rounding) up to the nearest, to the nearest or down to the nearest minute.

Un-tick or tick wether the task is billable or non-billable.

Start or pause your Punch timer by clicking the Play/Pause icon.

Clicking the disk icon will save your current Punch and reset all settings. Clicking the bin/trash icon will delete the current Punch and reset all settings.

In your Punch list click 'View'.

Within the Punch view window, you can edit all of the settings of the Punch. Reference, user, description, client, project, date, duration, padding time & type, wether it is billable and if it is active or inactive. Click submit to save any changes.

Clicking on the 3 dot 'More' icon will reveal date range filters, durations and actions to perform.

Within the Action drop down you have the ability to bulk set your filtered Punches to active/inactive, edit the client, project, padding, padding type and wether they are billable.

Merge actions include merging filtered punches, padded punches, clients per day, projects and projects per day.

Punches can be exported to your and your team members schedule.

Click the Download button to download your filtered Punch list into an Excel spreadsheet.
